THE 2025 CHEVROLET COLORADO

Mid-Size Truck. Full-Size Adventure.

From the Perseverance Trailhead to the Haines ferry ramp, the new Colorado is sized for the way we actually explore Southeast Alaska. Narrow enough for downtown, rugged enough for the Dalton Cache Road.

A SOUTHEAST ALASKA POINT OF VIEW

Built for Those of Us Who Live Where The Road Ends.

Not everyone in Juneau needs a full-size truck. Some of us need something that slides into the North Douglas church parking lot without a three-point turn, parallel parks on South Franklin on a cruise ship Saturday, and still has the clearance to make it up the forest road past Eaglecrest in October.

The Colorado is that truck. It was not designed for the Dallas metroplex or the Phoenix commute. It was built for people who actually drop a kayak at Amalga Harbor before work, who take the ferry to Gustavus with bikes in the bed, and who spend their Saturdays on the tidelands at Eagle Beach. We see you. And so did the team in Detroit who built this thing.

Take one for a drive up North Douglas Highway. You will know within five minutes.

THE COLORADO CUSTOMER

Younger, Versatile, Adventure-First.

Nationally, the Chevrolet Colorado attracts a distinctly different buyer than its big sibling. Colorado owners skew a decade younger than Silverado owners, with a strong presence in the 28 to 50 age range, dual-income households, and an outsized share of outdoor recreation enthusiasts. About 40 percent are first-time truck buyers.

THE JUNEAU COLORADO DRIVER LOOKS LIKE THIS

  • A Bartlett Regional nurse who bikes from downtown in the summer and commutes from Switzer Creek in the winter.
  • A NOAA biologist who needs to tow a research skiff but parks downtown five days a week.
  • A University of Alaska Southeast grad student splitting time between Juneau and Sitka field sites.
  • A young Juneau family trading up from a CR-V but unwilling to pay Silverado fuel bills.
  • A Haines resident driving the ferry every other weekend for Costco runs.
"I wanted a truck that could handle the Dalton Cache on a Saturday and still fit in the Marine View Parking Garage on Monday. The Colorado does both."
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Colorado FAQ.

Straight answers for Southeast Alaska shoppers.

Is the Chevy Colorado big enough for a family in Juneau?

Yes. The 2025 Colorado comes exclusively in Crew Cab with seating for five, full size rear doors, and a five foot two inch bed. That is plenty of room for two car seats, gear for a weekend at Eagle Beach, and the dog.

How much can the 2025 Colorado tow?

Properly equipped, the Colorado tows up to 7,700 lbs. That covers most 20 foot skiffs, a mid-size camper, or a fully loaded snow machine trailer.

What is the difference between ZR2 and ZR2 Bison?

Both share Multimatic DSSV dampers, front and rear electronic lockers, and a serious off-road attitude. The Bison adds AEV boron steel skid plates, 35 inch mud-terrain tires, and stamped steel front and rear bumpers for the kind of rough forest service roads you will find past Windfall Lake.

Do you serve customers outside of Juneau?

Absolutely. We regularly deliver to Haines, Skagway, Gustavus, Hoonah, Petersburg, Sitka, and other Southeast Alaska communities. The Alaska Marine Highway System makes coordinated delivery straightforward, and our team handles paperwork remotely.

Is the Colorado a good choice in Juneau snow and rain?

Yes. Available 4WD with Autotrac, an available locking rear differential, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, and up to 10.7 inches of ground clearance on the ZR2 make it purpose-built for our weather. Available all-weather floor liners handle slush and tidal muck.

READY FOR A TEST DRIVE?

Come Meet the Colorado. First Round of Coffee's On Us.

Stop by our showroom off Egan Drive. We keep a Colorado fueled up and ready for a loop up North Douglas so you can feel how it drives where you actually drive.
